DEIGHT Membership Explained: Free to Apply, Free to Join, No Subscription
What does DEIGHT membership cost? It’s free to apply and free to join once approved. There’s no monthly membership fee and no subscription. You book and pay separately for the events you choose to attend.
Looking for alternatives to dating apps, or social events for singles where conversation can happen naturally? DEIGHT offers two ways to get involved: open-to-everyone DEIGHT Socials and private Members’ Socials for approved, ID-verified members.
Here’s how the updated membership model works.
FOLLOW THE FIVE STEPS TO MEMBERSHIP
1. APPLY, FOR FREE
Complete a short membership application. There’s no application fee, and submitting an application doesn’t commit you to buying event tickets.
2. GET APPROVED
Every application is personally reviewed. Membership is by approval, so applying is the first step rather than an automatic sign-up.
3. COMPLETE ONE-TIME ID VERIFICATION
If your application is approved, you’ll complete a one-time photo ID check. This happens after approval and before your first Members’ Social.
4. JOIN, WITH NO SUBSCRIPTION
Once you’re approved and verified, you can become a DEIGHT member for free. There’s no monthly fee and no subscription to sign up for.
There’s one membership. “Premium” describes DEIGHT’s brand, venues and experiences, not a membership tier.
5. CHOOSE THE MEMBERS’ SOCIALS YOU WANT TO ATTEND
Approved members get first access to private Members’ Socials as they’re released in the locations they’ve selected. You decide which ones suit you, then book and pay for the events you choose.
No subscription to manage. No need to commit to every event. Just choose what you’d genuinely enjoy.
KNOW THE DIFFERENCE: DEIGHT SOCIALS AND MEMBERS’ SOCIALS
The names are similar, but access works differently.
DEIGHT SOCIALS ARE OPEN TO GUESTS AND MEMBERS
You do not need to be a member to attend a DEIGHT Social. These are larger public social events, open to guests and members. You can book directly without applying for membership, and guests don’t need to complete ID verification.
A public DEIGHT pop-up mixer runs once a month in each active city. It’s a straightforward way to experience DEIGHT before deciding whether membership is for you.
A one-off public DEIGHT Social Event Pass is £20. Some Saturday Premium Experiences and Sunday Reset Socials may be priced differently, depending on the venue, activity, food or hospitality involved.
MEMBERS’ SOCIALS ARE PRIVATE
Members’ Socials are exclusively for approved, ID-verified members. Members hear first when new events are released in their selected locations and can choose whether to book.
The kinds of experiences being developed include private dinners and fine dining, cocktail parties and drinks, wine tastings, members’ mixers, brunches and Sunday socials, activities, adventure weekends away, and seasonal or special events. These are examples, not a fixed schedule or a promise that every format will run.
DEIGHT’s programme also includes Midweek and Friday Lounge Socials / Members Mixers, Saturday Premium Experiences and Sunday Reset Socials. Check the events page for current public listings and the Members’ Socials page for information about private events.
UNDERSTAND WHAT MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES
Membership gives approved members access to the private side of DEIGHT, including first access to new Members’ Socials in their selected locations.
Membership does not include event tickets. Members book and pay separately for the events they choose to attend. You’re free to take part when an experience appeals to you and sit one out when it doesn’t.
Public DEIGHT Socials are separate. They’re open to guests and members, and you can attend one without joining.
That keeps the choice clear: apply for membership if you’d like access to private Members’ Socials, or simply book a public DEIGHT Social when you fancy an evening out.
KNOW WHAT ID VERIFICATION MEANS
ID verification is a one-time photo ID check for approved members. It takes place after approval and before a member’s first Members’ Social.
It is not a background check, criminal-record check or character assessment. It’s a distinct step for members accessing private socials.
Guests attending an open DEIGHT Social don’t need to complete ID verification. So if you’d like to try a public event first, you can.
TAKE YOUR MEMBERSHIP ACROSS THE MIDLANDS
One membership covers every DEIGHT city. Wherever DEIGHT goes, your membership goes with you. There’s no separate membership to apply for in each city.
DEIGHT is across the Midlands, including Nottingham, Birmingham, Leicester, Coventry, our newest city, and Derby. Members hear first about new Members’ Socials in the locations they’ve selected.
If you’re searching for singles mixers near me, events for singles or ways to meet single people face-to-face, explore the public events listed for your area. You can also apply for membership to hear about private experiences as they’re released.
DEIGHT’s current programme is for heterosexual singles, ladies and gentlemen, with scope for different events in future.
A NOTE ABOUT THE MEMBERSHIP CHANGE
Members’ Socials currently open for booking at £0 are for existing monthly subscription members only. This is a transition arrangement for those existing members, not the new membership model.
New members apply under the model explained here: free to apply, free to join once approved, no monthly membership fee and no subscription. Members then pay for the events they choose to attend.
